Tie-Dying Clothes Is A New Pastime & Fashion Trend
I’ve done a lot of things to keep busy over the last few weeks during the quarantine. I’ve attempted a puzzle, written dozens of cards for MRL’s Operation Kids Care, I’ve picked up a new running habit…and I’ve just about virtually redesigned my entire townhome. Now…I’m ready to have some fun. Remember to tie-dying? Yep. That’s right…the “arts and crafts” that you probably grew up doing once or twice, or even did at camps growing up. To be honest, the last time I tie-dyed something was in high school with my friends. We all got white shirts/shorts from Walmart and then tie-dyed them in lots of colors. Now there’s a new way to tie-dye and I will be trying this upcoming weekend!
There are a lot of tie-dye kits on Amazon, but I just learned a new way that you could do without ordering anything new at all!
BLEACH! or…toilet bowl cleaner. Yep, that sounds so weird…I know, but it’s what people are using! Here’s the tutorial I will be following this weekend:
How cool is this?

Pictures to come for my own…I’ll either love it & consider myself an artist for here on out, or I’ll hate it and just throw it out anyways and waste all my bleach. We shall see. To be continued…
