The Humane Society of Charlotte Will Be Offering Training Classes For Your Pup
If you’re a pet owner like I am…then this was an awesome email to wake up to.
I have a 6, almost 7-year-old lab mix. His name is Finley…aka bubba, aka Fin, aka Finnigan, aka a hundred other pet names he’s probably embarrassed that I’m even mentioning. I rescued him when he was itty bitty. He’s been through all of the PetSmart training courses: puppy, intermediate and advanced. I really am lucky when it comes to him…he’s a great dog. But with that being said…there’s nothing wrong in freshening up a few skills!
I got an email back in February from the Humane Society of Charlotte about their canine training classes, but February was just a crazy month for me…so when I got the email this morning about March classes, I was so excited!
Throughout the month of march they’re going to be offering dog training classes with their Intake and Behavior Programs Manager, Zach Boerboom. He’s been working in shelters since he was 19 years old so it’s safe to say he knows his stuff!
They’ve got 4 classes total in March, starting on March 7th with “The Path to Leashed Resistance.” You can find out all the information and even sign up for classes if you are interested here.
While we’re on the subject of puppers… our annual event Cinco De Puppo here is back this year! You can find out all the details on that event. Fun fact…that event is how Roy fell in love with his dog Cali!
