Biketoberfest Is Back in Charlotte
People who ride bikes in Charlotte know that the city has made great strides in accessibility and safety.
Now in its fifth year, Biketoberfest is a fun day of cycling around Charlotte with a chance to win prizes by collecting stamps in your official event passport. The more places you visit along the way, the more stamps you get, and the more chances you have to win. It’s also a great way to see the city and its growing network of bike lanes.
Biketoberfest is set for Sunday, October 13th (Rain date is Sunday, October 27th) from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM. The ride will begin and end at Triple C Brewing Co.’s Barrel Room, 2832 Griffith St. in the South End. The route takes you by a few more breweries, so why not get a pint along with your passport stamp?
Tickets cost $25 and benefit Sustain Charlotte, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and facilitating smart growth across the metro. Kids under 18 can ride for free if accompanied by a paying parent or guardian. More info here.
