Popular Tourist Destination Is The Most Hashtagged Location In South Carolina
There are a lot of places across the state of South Carolina worthy of a place on your feed. And a lot (and I mean A LOT) of places that have been posted on social media including perfectly curated Instagram accounts. If you had to guess the most hashtagged location in South Carolina what would you guess? My first thought would have been the Charleston. More specifically Rainbow Row or the Pineapple Fountain. Or perhaps Williams Brice Stadium or Death Valley? All of these places have tons of people visiting yearly. But to my surprise, those are not the correct answer to this question. But I guess it’s not too surprising the location that is.
This data was provided to us by FloridaPanhandle.com, who “analyzed hundreds of hashtags and attractions of every single U.S. state”. And according to their research, the most hashtagged location in South Carolina- is none other than the tourist mecca that is Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. And while it would never be my top choice of a place to visit at this point in my life, the ease of visiting Myrtle Beach has made it a frequent destination in my life. Yes, the “Dirty Myrtle” nickname can be justified, but there are also lots of great things about the area. If you have kids there is no shortage of things for them to do. Seriously, they can’t get bored. Any type of restaurant you can possibly imagine? It’s there. And luckily for me, I have numerous free places to stay in the vicinity of Myrtle Beach. My best advice is to stay a little north or south of “downtown” for a more relaxing experience.
The Most Instagramable Spots In The US
So if that’s the winner for South Carolina, which makes sense as it probably gets more tourists than any other place in the Palmetto State. What’s the most Instagramable place in the US? The answer to that question is Walt Disney World. Of course, it is! Another place I’ve posted some photos from in my time. One of the most popular tourist attractions in the world, the theme parks especially that castle shot, are probably photographed more often than most celebrities! Some other spots that topped the posts for the US include Central Park, the Space Needle, the Las Vegas Strip, and Red Rocks Park & Amphitheater in Colorado.
