- Don’t be afraid to get vulnerable – Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Joey, Ross and Chandler weren’t afraid to show their emotions or ask for advice, which Jackson says is key to forming deeper connections. The friends see each other at their worst, when they’re most vulnerable, but know they can count on each other no matter what, and that’s what deep friendship is all about.
