Pizza Hut Brings Back Nostalgic Reading Rewards Program For Children
dYou might not be as old as I am but one of my fondest summer memories was working towards my Pizza Hut personal pan pizza for their summer reading program. So, I was so excited when I heard they are bringing it back and now I can share the experience with my boys.
It’s funny how everything comes in cycles and what is old, can be new again.
According to Foodbeast, Pizza Hut is bringing back its reading program for children to commemorate Camp Book It’s 40th anniversary to encourage reading for kids along with free pizza. Pizza Hut and the Scholastic Book Club first joined forces in 1984 to give kids free personal pan pizzas for every book read in a month as long as they were enrolled in the reading program.
The incentive program for 2024 runs from June through August and enrollment is open for this summer’s program along with the 2024-2025 school year for schools, parents, and kids from ages 4 to 12. The school year runs from October 1 through March 31 and participants can get one free pizza every month while enrolled in the program with a potential for nine pizzas topped with marinara and cheese.
