Have You Visited The Most Beautiful Restaurant In North Carolina?

While never the defining factor in how good a restaurant is, a gorgeous location and decor can certainly amplify the dining experience. Open Table was recently named the most beautiful restaurant in each US State so naturally I had to see what they chose as the most beautiful restaurant in North Carolina.

It's not on the coast, nor on the mountains. Instead, you'll find the most beautiful restaurant in North Carolina in our state's capital city. While it's not a restaurant I've been to it's in an area I'm very familiar with- Raleigh's North Hills.

In fact, I was actually first introduced to this spot last weekend when a friend of mine was telling me about getting reservations there ahead of her anniversary. So which of the many North Hills' restaurants is it? There are so many fantastic ones to choose from!

In this case we are talking about Tamasha Modern Indian. The decor does look stunning. It's sleek and modern, but still gives a welcoming vibe. Tamasha is described on its website as "high-end dining" and the appearance backs that up.

They go on to self-describe as having a "unique, stylish, and modern Indian restaurant offers patrons not just a meal, but a vibrant sensory journey into the realm of modern Indian cuisine, complemented by a lively and spirited atmosphere. "

At the time of publishing the menu portion of the website seems to be down. I'm also far from an expert on Indian Cuisine so my opinion wouldn't be worth much in that regard. I can say that many of my friends in the Raleigh area highly recommend this spot.

You can debate me all you won't but you won't change my mind. Brunch is the perfect meal. You can get a variety of food options from breakfast favorites, to unique offerings, and some lunch options as well.

Mimosas and Bloody Marys give the perfect excuse to day drink which is always superior. Plus you can make brunch super casual, or an excuse to dress up. Truly what is better?

I've also said if I was going to open a restaurant it would be a brunch one. I have rarely ever been to a brunch restaurant that didn’t have a wait. So if they all seem to be popular how do you determine the best brunch in South Carolina?

A good place to start is with Yelp. And the review/rating website recently published a list of the Top 100 Brunch Spots across the United States for 2024. And not one, not two, but FOUR South Carolina brunch restaurants ranked among the best.

So how was this list created?  It is based on Yelp ratings are reviews in the “Breakfast & Brunch category”. Restaurants considered featured a large concentration of reviews mentioning “brunch” and “Mother’s Day” The identified restaurants were then ranked.
