Two North Carolina City Made The Worst List For An Active Lifestyle
People step up their active lifestyles this time of year to keep their New Year’s resolutions, except this North Carolina city. Setting those goals is easy, but breaking them is even easier, and it turns out, where you live may play a part in whether you actually stick to your resolutions.
Staying active is a great goal for the New Year! Regular physical activity has numerous benefits, including improving heart health, reducing stress, and boosting mood. As you know, there are always many trendy workouts to jump on board to. However, here are some tips to help you stay active this year:
- Set achievable goals: Start with small, achievable goals and work your way up. For example, aim to walk for 30 minutes a day, three times a week, and gradually increase the duration or frequency.
- Find an activity you enjoy: Whether it’s dancing, swimming, cycling, or hiking, find an activity that you enjoy doing. This will make it easier to stick with it in the long run.
- Make it a habit: Schedule your physical activity into your daily routine, just like you would with any other appointment. This way, you’ll be more likely to stick with it.
- Stay motivated: Join a fitness class or find a workout buddy to help keep you motivated and accountable.
Remember, staying active doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming. Even small amounts of physical activity can have a big impact on your health and well-being. Remember this, especially if you live in the Carolinas!
