Chad ‘OchoCinco’ Johnson Leaves Large Tip At Ohio and North Carolina Restaurants
Former NFL star Chad “OchoCinco” Johnson has made a name for himself off the field for his generosity and he’s done it again, this time leaving a $2-thousand tip at a Cincinnati restaurant. According to LOCAL 12, the retired Bengals wide receiver posted a pic of his receipt from Asian fusion restaurant E+O Kitchen, showing the generous tip on his $76 meal.
The holiday season is a time of giving and spreading joy. Many people express their appreciation for those who provide them with services throughout the year, such as waitstaff, delivery drivers, and other service industry workers, by leaving generous tips during the holiday season.
While tipping is not mandatory, it is a way to show gratitude for a job well done. During the holiday season, it is common for people to increase their tip amount as a way to spread cheer and show appreciation for those who have worked hard throughout the year. This can also help to make someone’s day a little brighter and show that their hard work does not go unnoticed.
So, what’s the story?
Johnson has earned a reputation of leaving oversized tips at restaurants where he dines. In January, he left a total of $3-thousand in tips at two Atlanta restaurants within 24 hours and in 2022 he was in the news several times for leaving $1,000+ tips at restaurants in his home state of Florida and in North Carolina.
In these challenging times, it’s good to know people like Johnson are out there spreading kindness and positivity and making a difference in people’s lives. The one-man stimulus package to the service industry usually leaves a fun note on the receipt and often references his favorite verse, Proverbs 11:25, which says, “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”
Love to see that this happened in North Carolina and no doubt that it did, North Carolina has some of the best tippers.
