That's why when I found out the news about 'New Girl' leaving Netflix, I was shocked. I started watching 'New Girl' probably close to a decade ago. I would watch seasons at a time, then go back and rewatch. Each time a new season got released on Netflix, I was thrilled. It seems like 'New Girl' has been available on the streaming giant for ages. Turns out, it has.
Netflix has had the show's streaming rights since 2013. Fast forward to now and the licensing deal is expiring. Netflix's last look into apartment 4D will be on April 9.
Netflix seems to be the one streamer most people have. It's the other streaming services that tend to be hit or miss. 'New Girl' isn't leaving the streaming world altogether though. Starting on April 17, you'll be able to have access to your comfort show and your comfort friend group on Hulu and Peacock.
If you don't have Hulu, here is some advice from Nick Miller himself:
"Switch accounts," he says! And there you have it, folks.
