Early Signs They’re Going To Cheat On You
You never know for sure if someone is going to cheat on you or not. But there are some early signs that may point in that direction. According to Your Tango, some people may be more prone to cheating than others. To help you figure out whether your S.O. is one of those people, here are five signs that they may be a cheater.
They have cheated before. Sometimes, if they cheat once, it can become habitual since cheating for many people is actually a coping mechanism.
Their father cheated. Or their mother. Either parent. Having parents that cheated can normalize things for some people. It becomes part of the relationship. Studies have also found that sons of fathers who cheat are also prone to do so.
They have impulse control issues. Some people are just incapable of resisting impulses, and a lot of times, these impulses lead to negative outcomes.
They are depressed and/or anxious. Cheating can be a coping mechanism for many. When someone isn’t in a good place in their lives, they sometimes turn to vices to feel better and self-soothe.
If your relationship started as an affair. All affairs exist in a bubble, and in that bubble, the hardships and troubles of real life disappear. This bubble bursts once it goes from an affair to real-world relationship, and that can falter the relationship, leading someone to try and seek a new affair.
