Good news basketball fans! We are inching closer to the Charlotte Hornets 2022-2023 season. Excitement is building and your Charlotte Hornets have released the 2022-23 schedule and we finally know when the Hive will be alive!  You can catch LaMelo Ball and your Hornets live at the Spectrum Center starting October 21st when they battle the Pelicans. You know you want to be there! All Hornets single-game tickets are on sale now! Some of the biggest matchups include the Lakers, Celtics, and Warriors, which are sure to sell out. Best & Worst Sports Logos: See How North Carolina Teams Rank

Sports team logos are some of the most identifiable logos in the world. And they are a major part of the branding of the teams. Think about it. You can buy just about anything with the logos on it- from simple hoodies or t-shirts to barware, car mats, dog toys, purses, hats, flags, literally anything you can imagine. So they have to be good. But who has the best sports logo? Well, Quality Logo Products Blog has the answer. They surveyed fans across the United States to determine the best & worst sports logos. And NC was well represented.

They determined the best logos by the sport (looking at the major professional sports ). This included breakouts of the following sports:

  • NFL — National Football League: 32 teams, including one in Canada.
  • NBA — National Basketball Association: 30 teams, including one in Canada.
  • MLB — Major League Baseball (National and American Leagues), 30 teams, including one in Canada.
  • NHL — National Hockey League: 32 teams, including seven in Canada and one new expansion team in 2021, the Seattle Kraken.
  • MLS — Major League Soccer: 27 teams, including three in Canada, and one new 2021 expansion team, Austin FC.

Respondents were asked what they thought the best logos in sports were, disregarding how they feel about the teams. They created lists for each sport and also merged them together to find the absolute best logos across all the sports. And one North Carolina team made that combined list. Read on to see which team.
