Date em or Dump em is one of my favorite segments on our show and today’s made me laugh out loud! Eric wanted our help because a woman he’s been dating has a tattoo of her ex-boyfriend’s name under one of her breasts. Ultimately, our radio family decided that Eric needed to dump the girl because he was already bothered by it but Maney’s idea to fix the situation was just ridiculous!
Getting someone’s name tattooed on your body never seems like a good idea to me. If you’re considering getting your first tattoo, your head is probably swirling with ideas of awesome designs, but the first thing on your mind should be safety!
When it comes to getting a tattoo, there’s more to consider than just what you’ll be inking on your skin. According to Seventeen, you should also consider the cost, the pain, the tattoo shop’s safety measures, and THEN how you want the tattoo to look (not a name). Prices depend on size. Tattoo parlors usually adjust prices based on the size and style of your tattoo – and they might try to up the price if it’s your first time. Make sure you know your budget, and what that could safely get you at a tattoo shop. And on that note…
Don’t go bargain-hunting. You’re about to get something inked permanently on your skin. Not only should you make sure the quality is up to snuff, but also consider what the price tag says about the tattoo parlor’s standards. Even if you think you’ve found a deal on a good tattoo, you could end up risking your health –with a side of tattoo regret.
