Woman Hasn’t Sat Down For 30 Years Because Of Rare Condition
Wow, this is strange and sad…
A woman in Poland hasn’t sat down in 30 years due to a rare medical condition and is terrified that her legs will “fail at any moment.” 32-year-old Joanna Kilch suffers from a genetic condition that has fused her hips to their joints and has been diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy.
Kilch says she’s “in pain every day because I have no support for my body weight and my knees are weak.” In fact, she says, “I feel like my left knee will break soon. Then I won’t even be able to stand.” She uses a standing wheelchair to get around and is currently raising money for therapy.
