Have David Tepper and the Panthers abandoned their Rock Hill Panthers facility and scrapped it for good? SC Councilman Bump Roddey told the Charlotte Business Journal that he doesn't believe the 240-acre project will be completed.

It's all a "he says they say" situation. It has lots of moving parts. Basically, Rock Hill and Tepper Sports and Entertainment came to an agreement on public funding. The Panthers claim Rock Hill hasn't fulfilled it's commitment. Rock Hill says it has.

In an emailed statement, a spokesman for Gov. McMaster told CBJ, “We understand that there are some issues that need to be worked out and that both sides are doing what they can to make it work. We certainly think everything will be ironed out soon.”

As of April 7th the city of Rock Hill has not heard back from Tepper Sports and Entertainment.  Maybe it is scrapped it for good?

Billionaire Panther’s owner David Tepper and his wife Nicole have donated $500,000 to Miracle Park. Miracle Park is a park for people of all abilities located in Rock Hill, SC. In addition to their personal donation, another $200,000 is being donated from Carolina Panthers Charities. The park will be the first of its kind in the country. The 15-acre park will be located at 1005 Eden Terrace across from the Winthrop Coliseum.
