WalletHub recently came out with their list of the best places to retire, picking Orlando, Florida as the best spot. Well, “U.S. News & World Report” is out with their annual list, and they have a different opinion.
- “U.S. News & World Report” has just come out with their 2021-2022 Best Places To Retire list.
- They evaluated the country’s 150 largest metropolitan areas based on how well they meet Americans’ expectations for retirement.
- As usual, Florida dominates the list, with eight of the Top 10 cities in Florida
- Topping the list again this year is Sarasota, Florida, due to increases in desirability, retiree tax, and job market scores
- Naples, Florida lands at two, with Daytona Beach jumping 12 spots to three, largely due to its good air quality and low crime rates.
