The MRL Morning Show

Weekdays 6:00AM-10:00AM

Instagram is everything these days. If you don’t snap a pic of what you’re doing or where you’re at, how will others know!?

Money.co.uk analyzed over 26 million hashtags on Instagram associated with the world’s most popular beaches and calculated how many Instagram posts are shared per meter of that stretch of sand. The one with the most Instagram posts per meter would be crowned the most beautiful beach in the world. So who won? Bali’s Kelingking beach!

I have actually been to Railay Beach in Thailand! I wasn’t as good as a photographer back then as I am now, but check out some of the pictures I took below while I was there. The pictures really don’t do it justice. The entire vibe of the beach was such an experience. I can’t wait to go back:

The USA had 3 beaches that made the top 20 list in the world! Hawaii’s Hanauma Bay came in 7th, Lanikai Beach came in 18th and Miami’s Bal Harbour Beach came in 19th.

If you’re just looking at the USA, our top 5 would be:

  1. Hawaii’s Hanauma Bay
  2. Lanikai Beach
  3. Miami’s Bal Harbour Beach
  4. California’s Sand Dollar Beach
  5. Coronado Beach
