La Belle Helene Returns To Charlotte
Many businesses have shut down due to the pandemic, and La Belle Helene was one of those unfortunate victims. We are happy to announce that they are returning this spring, thanks to a little help from the people behind 5Church. You can read about when Roy first dined at La Belle Helene two years ago.

La Belle Helene is equal parts warm and inviting, inspired by 19th century French covered passage architecture and romantic skylit evenings. We are being told that there will be some minor retouches to the inside, and a fresh take on the menu, but the familiar authentic brasserie-style restaurant will be back.
If you’ve had the pleasure of experiencing 5Church or Sophia’s Lounge, you are familiar with the 5th Street Group’s unique touch on its restaurant environment. Top Chef alum Chef Jamie Lynch of 5th Street Group will be showcasing his French restaurant experience right here in the Queen City. It’s been almost 8 years since the 5th Street Group opened a restaurant in Charlotte, so we are excited that they are returning a Charlotte favorite!
