A man with a flamethrower opted to use it during the afternoon commute in Brooklyn, New York.

The man hopped on top of the city MTA bus and shot the flames high above his head. What upsets officials is all the onlookers that cheered and took pictures. The bus driver just watched, stunned. Then the top of the bus caught fire briefly.

It turns out, local rapper Dupree G.O.D. is taking credit and says it was part of a Wu_Tang tribute music video. Of course, he isn’t commenting now that there’s an investigation.

MTA spokesman Tim Minton said. “We don’t even need to say how absurd, dangerous, and just plain stupid this was. The reckless individual who torched over the top of an occupied bus put New Yorkers, including the bus operator, in life-threatening peril.”
