The Best (And Worst) States For Women’s Equality
It’s no secret that women still experience their fair share of unequal treatment in the workforce, and even in society in general, but there are some states that have made great strides in women’s equality. Well, now a new report reveals which states are doing the best job at just that.
WalletHub has just come out with their list of the Best and Worst States for Women’s Equality, looking at the 50 states based on 17 key indicators. They include the gap between female and male executives, unemployment rates for men and women, income disparity between genders, and more.
At the other end of the spectrum, Utah ranks at the bottom of the list, coming in dead last for education and health, and in the bottom three for workplace environment and political empowerment.
