Sharing Your Ex’s CC Info Sounds Like Something LauRen Would Do
Breakups can get messy and thanks to the Internet, sometimes they unravel online for everyone to see. It can get especially ugly when one partner feels betrayed by their ex and that’s exactly what happened to one unidentified woman who was dumped and ghosted by her boyfriend. So her revenge? Posting his credit card information on Twitter!
“Well my boyfriend broke up with me and has been ghosting me for weeks now, so have fun and buy yourself something cute,” the scorned lover tweeted. A screenshot of the post that was shared on Reddit shows what appears to be the ex’s name, credit card number, CVV and expiration date, but the Reddit user had the decency to blur out all the info. Still, people love to see other people’s misery and the screenshot received nearly 10-thousand upvotes in eight hours in the r/trashy subreddit.
In the comments, Redditors called out the “spiteful and destructive” woman for her “illegal” way to get back at her ex. “Have fun with credit card fraud charges,” one user posted. And another wrote, “I’ll never be able to wrap my head around people who get mad after a breakup and do things that’ll put them behind bars.”
