Bull Knocks Out Town’s Power By Scratching An Itch
MACCLESFIELD, UNITED KINGDOM - MAY 03: A Pedigree Aberdeen Angus is seen on Pyegreave Farm, Langley, Cheshire, on May 3rd, 2006, Macclesfield Cheshire, England. The pedigree cattle on the farm are bred to help rejuvenate UK beef stock as Beef farmers welcome the decision by the EU to lift the 10 year ban on British beef exports. Live cattle born after 1 August 1996 can now be exported, as can beef from cattle slaughtered after 15 June, 2005. (Photo by Christopher Furlong/Getty Images)
A bull’s itchy backside left a Scottish town in the dark.
Ron the bull was in his field when his rear end’s itching got the best of him. So, like anyone would do, he found a place to scratch. Unfortunately, the large bull used a utility pole and the scratching was so hard the transformer fell of.
That’s when the town went dark. Workers got it fixed up a few hours later, just in time for the weekend. Workers also put up a fence around the pole, so Ron will have to find a new spot to scratch any itches.
