“Harry Potter” Book To Be Read In Entirety By Harry Potter Himself…& Friends!
Harry Potter is life, and if it’s not your life…I truly feel for you. The magical experience of the Wizarding world that J.K. Rowling created is something that changed my life for the better. It’s quite the experience. Since the Harry Potter films wrapped up years ago, the cast hasn’t done much together but that changes now!
Daniel Radcliffe is stepping back into his role as Harry Potter to entertain folks at home…and he’s bringing along some celebrity friends. J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World will be brought to life by Radcliffe, Stephen Fry, David Beckham, Dakota Fanning, Eddie Redmayne, and more for a live-reading of the series’ first book, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.”
The stars won’t just be reading a chapter or two – they’ll be reading the entire book chapter-by-chapter in a series of free videos and audio recordings rolling out over the next several months. Each star will read different sections of the beloved fantasy novel, delivering its messages of family, friendship, courage, and overcoming adversities as families and fans around the world adjust to the “new normal” of quarantine.
Kicking off the series is Radcliffe, who played the boy wizard on screen, reading the first chapter “The Boy Who Lived.” Between now and mid-summer, readings of all 17 chapters of the book will be posted weekly HERE.
