Friends Surprise Couple With Drive-By Gender Reveal Party During Social Distancing
An Arkansas couple who spent years trying to conceive a child was looking forward to celebrating their pregnancy with loved ones at their gender reveal party. Dustin and Jennifer Sanders were planning the big event at their church, where they serve as pastors, but decided to cancel after large gatherings were banned.
They announced the news live on Facebook with a couple of thousand people watching and soon afterward, the couple got a call from their church secretary asking them to come outside for a minute. And that’s when they were surprised with a drive-by gender to reveal party. A parade of cars driven by friends and family passed by with pink streamers, hats, and confetti to show them they are having a baby girl.
What a creative and fun way to still feel like your friends and family are involved without breaking any social distancing rules! Bravo!
