LauRen and Dallas Visit Sagrada Familia in Barcelona
With our little one on the way, last week my husband and I embarked on our second babymoon. For most, “babymoon” is a new term, so allow me to explain. A babymoon is a relaxing or romantic vacation taken by parents-to-be before their baby is born. The last hurrah before the baby arrives, if you will.
On our first babymoon with Cashton, Dallas and I really blew things out traveling to Venice Italy and Santorini Greece. This time we opted for one city instead of two and I am so glad we did. Two cities with travel in between was a lot for me with my first pregnancy so I was grateful to take it a little easier this time around.
When we found out we were pregnant I immediately started throwing out ideas and the one we kept coming back to was Barcelona. I had always wanted to go, but had never had the opportunity and seeing that once your little bambino arrives your pretty landlocked, I knew this might be my last chance to go abroad for a while.
Everything in Barcelona was so beautiful from the architecture and food to the charm of the city and it’s people. Once we were settled at our hotel I couldn’t wait to get out and explore. First stop, the infamous Sagrada Familia.
Here are some of our photos from this amazing tour and church!
