Play Anything Day 2018: Meet Maddie Vogel!
Maddie Vogel is a huge MRL fan, but today we became a big fan of her.
Maddie Vogel is an awesome seventeen-year-old from Spartanburg, SC. One day, just five weeks ago, she was in a fiery car accident and suffered a traumatic brain injury. Her trauma care was administered locally but her family chose to come to Levine Children’s Hospital for her in-patient rehabilitation.
If you’re new to The MRL Morning Show Radio Family, today is our 7th Annual Play Anything Day. For the past seven years, we have been working to raise money in a different way for our friends at Levine Children’s Hospital. For the simple fact that they change their patients lives forever and leave a positive impact on them even after something negative happens. Play Anything Day is a day where we focus on the music and on the cause. We take donations of any amount and in return, the people who donate get to choose a song of THEIR choosing!
Did you hear Maddie’s story? This is insane. This was her car. Her life was changed after this crash and @LevineChildrens helped her start her road to recovery - she said they need new things - call now & donate so these kids can get what they need 877-335-KIDS(5437) pic.twitter.com/I3FYcSDv3C

Doctors expected Maddie to spend 3+ weeks at Levine. Thanks to the amazing staff on the 4th floor, she was only there for 10 DAYS! This Friday will mark one week of her being home.
