Avicii’s Forewarning of His Death
Avicii worried that working too much would lead to his death…
In the documentary “Avicii: True Stories” that was released last October, the Swedish DJ forewarned us that his busy work schedule would be the death of him.
He retired from performing in 2016. He received a lot of backlash for doing so but explained, “I had a lot of push-back when I wanted to stop doing gigs. I have told them this. I won’t be able to play anymore…I have said, like, ‘I’m going to die.’ I have said it so many times. And so, I don’t want to hear that I should entertain the thought of doing another gig.”
Prior to retiring, Avicii dealt with several health issues. In 2012 he had pancreatitis and had his gallbladder and appendix removed in 2014.
Avicii was found dead over the weekend at age 28. Many fans and celebrities praised his accomplishments as a DJ and sent their condolences to his family.
