Adele Credits Exercise, Not Surgery or Diets, for 100-Pound Weight Loss
Superstar Adele lost 100 pounds through hard work and dedication — not gimmicks or surgery. “People keep saying I had surgery, but I didn’t. I didn’t do anything drastic — I just made lifestyle changes and stuck to them,” she told Oregon State Blogs.
The singer works out three different ways each day. She begins with heavy lifting in the morning, moves to boxing or hiking in the afternoon, and ends with cardio to get her heart rate up.
Her workout plan targets all her major muscles. She does big moves like deadlifts and pullups, along with squats, lunges, and jumping exercises. This mix of activities keeps her body challenged.
Adele’s fitness journey began as a way to help her mental health. Exercise became her way to handle anxiety. “I realized that when I was working out, I didn’t have anxiety,” she told Mychal Schulz.
People first noticed her new look in 2020. She posted a photo showing her dramatic weight loss — changes that began during her divorce, when working out became her emotional release.
Adele’s eating habits go against what most people expect. She eats more food now to support her active lifestyle, rather than following crash diets or removing food groups.
The benefits go beyond losing weight. Adele says she feels less stressed and much stronger. Moving every day helps her stay consistent.
On her 32nd birthday, her Instagram post took an unexpected direction. While thanking fans, Adele also recognized COVID-19 healthcare workers.
While early stories connected her to the Sirtfood Diet, Adele now focuses on eating normal, well-rounded meals. She finds a good balance between healthy foods and treats.
