Justin Bieber Blames Hack For Unfollowing Wife, Possible New Music
Justin Bieber caused a stir when fans noticed he’d unfollowed his wife, Hailey Bieber, on Instagram. But don’t worry, it wasn’t what it seemed. In a now-deleted Instagram Stories post on Tuesday (Jan. 21), Justin explained, “Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife. S— is getting suss out here.”
Just a few days earlier, on Saturday (Jan. 18), Justin was all about the romance, sharing snapshots of a winter date with Hailey. The two were spotted ice skating under the stars, looking as adorable as ever. Justin even posted a heartfelt tribute to her on his Stories: “The greatest woman I have and will ever know,” complete with an animated heart. Cue the collective “aww!”
On the same day, he shared pictures of himself in the zone—headphones on, mic in hand—tagging photographer Rory Kramer, who’s been behind many of his recent Instagram photos. Fans, of course, went into sleuth mode, especially after Justin teased a 24-second acoustic snippet on Jan. 15. In the raw recording, he sang, “B—- I’m takin’ bait/ I’m takin’ it/ You takin’ bait/ I’m shakin’ it/ You’re shakin’ it/ Shakin’ off the hate,” with his signature raspy vocals.
And it turns out, Justin’s been hard at work in the studio for a while. Back in October, he shared photos from a session with a keyboard and mic, not long after artist Mk.gee told The New York Times about their collaboration. “He’s searching. Anything that comes out of his mouth: That’s pop music. You can really do pretty wild stuff behind that, just because it represents something,” Mk.gee said.
