We know what the end of the year means. Those lists of the best of 2024 start coming out for our analysis. Well, Billboard isn’t waiting and released its list of the top 10 female rappers for 2024. Some may remember in June when they named the top 10 female rappers right now, so some are intrigued to see how different the lists compare. Who moved up and who went down?
According to Billboard, the list takes into account “record quality, chart success, cultural buzz, notable business endeavors and partnerships and touring success.” So, who made the Top 10 and where were they back in June? Check it out below.

A few notable mentions that people are buzzing about including Nicki Minaj dropping. Of course, the Barbz think she should have remained at #1, but there are many who are also thinking that she should no longer be on the list at all. Another shock is Flo Milli who went from being featured and now removed from the list.
But, if there is one thing many are agreeing on it’s that GloRilla deserves to be at the top of the list for female rappers of the year. She has truly earned that spot with great tour experience with Megan Thee Stallion during the Hot Girl Summer Tour, many No. 1 hits, and a banging debut album, GLORIOUS. What’s next for the rapper as we head into 2025?
