Passenger Banned From Airline For Using Viral Online Packing Hack
A viral airline packing trick got at least one traveler in hot water. The passenger tried to get around paying to check a bag by filling a pillowcase with all of his stuff and then claiming it was just a pillow. The technique became a popular packing hack idea after TikTokers recommended it, but things don’t always work in real life like they do online.
TikTok user @natashaorganic shared a clip of the passenger having an argument with Orlando airport security about his “pillow,” but then ultimately agreed to pay the checked baggage fee as they were closing the doors to the boarding ramp. The response? Airport officials told him he had already had his chance to pay, and staff called the police. As @natashaorganic said, “Stop listening to the internet!”
