Justin Bieber and wife Hailey Bieber’s pregnancy announcement yesterday had fans all over the world go wild with excitement. That same excitement extended to Justin Bieber’s mom, Pattie Mallette, and Hailey Bieber’s dad, Stephen Baldwin.
Justin Bieber’s Mom Shares Her Reaction
“So I have been waiting for this day,” Pattie said in a video posted to Instagram Thursday night (May 9). “And now that they have shared it, I can finally celebrate with y’all. Oh my gosh, I’m gonna be a grandma! Oh my goodness.”
“Justin and Hailey, you are gonna be the best parents ever, and I am so excited,” the 49-year-old added. “Oh my goodness. Praise God.” She captioned the reel: “BABY BIEBER IS ON THE WAY!! I’m gonna be a GRANDMA!! CONGRATULATIONS @justinbieber and @haileybieber !! My heart is so full. What an exciting new adventure. Love you so much!”
Other than her excited post, Bieber’s mom couldn’t contain her excitement just on her social media. She extended her joy to Justin’s Instagram post. Under the sweet slideshow of Justin renewing his vows with Hailey in Hawaii, Pattie wrote: “BABY BIEBER,” Pattie commented, “LETS GOOOOOOO!!!”
Meanwhile, Hailey’s father, Stephen Baldwin, posted a photo of the couple smooching in Hawaii to his Instagram. The Usual Suspects actor captioned his post: “Love you guys [red heart emoji] blessed beyond words [prayer hands emoji] praise God [baby emoji] let’s get ready to have some fun y’all.”
Though she probably didn’t realize her comment would start rumors, Bieber’s mom commented on Baldwin’s post, “Congratulations Grandpa! WE ARE GONNA HAVE THE CUTEST GRAND-BABIES EVER!” Of course, Beliebers watching the comments go down, believed the plural mention of grand-babies meant Hailey was pregnant with twins. Realizing the stir she caused, Mallette added a comment to clear up the confusion.
“No not twins lol I wish,” she added. “I just mean in general. Hopefully they will have more than one eventually. They will make beautiful babies whenever they have them. One is enough for now [laughing emoji].”
The couple, who have been married for five years, had positive reactions from their famous friends, family, and fans on their pregnancy announcement. Commenting on Bieber’s post, Demi Lovato wrote excitedly, “Congratulations!!!” Kim Kardashian commented, “I love you guys soooo much!!!” Kylie Jenner commented a bunch of white heart emojis. Khloé Kardashian wrote, “I love you guys!!!!! We are all so excited and happy for you two!!!!! Mommy and daddy time.” DJ Khaled commented, “GOD DID ! CONGRATS !!!!!”
Over on the Rhode founder’s post, the KarJenners offered more love. Kendall Jenner wrote, “ahhhh here come the tears again [red heart emoji].” Meanwhile, Kylie said, “i love you guys!!!! ahhhhhhhh.” Kourtney Kardashian wrote, “blessing [white heart emoji].” Lindsay Lohan commented, “Congratulations!! [red heart emoji].” Bella Hadid wrote, “chillieee williessss I love you soooo much!!!!” Paris Hilton commented, “Congratulations love.” Justin’s mom commented on her post, “[crying emoji, praising emoji] THANK YOU JESUS.”
