These Are The 10 Happiest Countries For People Under 30
The 2024 World Happiness Report is out! Not only did The Wellbeing Research Centre at the University of Oxford, which published the report, rank the happiest countries in the world to live in, but they also looked at which countries are the happiest for different generations.
According to CNBC, Gen Z and millennials under 30, voted Lithuania as the number one spot. Over 63% of the country’s population is between the ages of 15 and 64 years old. Its cost of living is also just over 32% lower than the cost of living in the United States.
So, which other countries were found to be the happiest countries for people under 30? Here are the top ten.

Around the world, there are remarkable areas known as “Blue Zones” where people live significantly longer lives. These regions are characterized not just by the longevity of their inhabitants but also by the quality of life they enjoy in their advanced years. The concept of Blue Zones was popularized by Dan Buettner, who identified five such regions: Okinawa (Japan), Sardinia (Italy), Nicoya (Costa Rica), Icaria (Greece), and Loma Linda (California, USA).
It crazy to me that there is no correlation between the two.
Last year, I had the opportunity to visit Sardinia on vacation and it is easy to see way people are healthy and happy there. Sardinia, Italy, particularly in the mountainous Barbagia region, a combination of genetics, diet, and physical activity plays a crucial role. The diet here leans heavily on whole-grain bread, beans, vegetables, fruits, and a moderate consumption of red wine.
