Recalled Chips Sold In Both Carolinas Due To Allergy Risk
One of the most popular brands of chips has recalled chips sold in both Carolinas due to an allergy risk. The recall comes after an investigation that started with a customer complaint.
They made the announcement: ‘Frito-Lay today issued a voluntary recall of 16,100 bags of 6 1/4 oz. Off The Eaten Path Chickpea Veggie Crisps that may contain undeclared milk ingredients due to the unintended presence of caramel seasoned crisps.’
They continued on to say that they could have been bought as early as September 13, 2023, and were sold in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
