2 North Carolina Cities Among Top 10 Educated In The Country
A good education is important, for knowledge as well as the fact that higher levels of education tend to help you earn higher salaries and this report is good news for North Carolina. While there are educational opportunities all over, some parts of the country have a more educated population than others. And a new report reveals where those are.
- WalletHub’s annual list of the Most Educated Cities in the U.S. has just come out.
- They compared the 150 largest metro areas in the country across 11 factors related to educational attainment and quality of education & attainment gap.
- They looked at everything from the share of adults over age 25 with a bachelor’s degree to the quality of the public school system to the gender education gap.
- Based on those metrics, Ann Arbor, Michigan tops the list as the most educated city in the country, with a score of 94.71 out of 100.
- It’s number one in both categories: educational attainment and quality of education & education gap.
- At the bottom of the list is Visalia, California, with a score of just 8.28, making it the least educated city.
