Why South Carolina Is A State That Commits Major Social Media Sins
Have you committed a social media sin? Most of us have posted something on social media we came to regret. My real-life wife, and my “work wife” get on me for posting pictures from bad angles! Plus, each person in my life I take a picture with needs a different filter. Damn it! There are so many do’s and dont’s.
It’s not just about poor picture-taking either according to the NY Post. New research reveals some states are worse than others when it comes to their online behavior. Unfortunately one of those states is South Carolina. A study of more than 3-thousand Americans looks into whether they’ve engaged in 10 “social media sins” and which states have the most offenders.
- It turns out New York is the worst, with its residents committing the most “social media sins” of any state. No surprise there!
- More than half of the residents of the Empire State admit to having done each of the 10 “sins.”
- Nearly three-quarters (72%) of folks in New York state confess to doing the most commonly committed “social media sin,” arguing with someone online.
- On the flip side, Oregon is the most well-behaved state on social media, with only 7% of its residents committing these “sins.”
If you live in South Carolina, read these and see if you’re part of the problem hahaha!
