Grilled Cheese Festival Coming To Charlotte North Carolina This Weekend
MIAMI BEACH, FL - FEBRUARY 26: Food on display at the Grilled Cheese Happy Hour Hosted By Laura Werlin And Ms. Cheezious during 2016 Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival Presented By FOOD & WINE at Cibo Wine Bar on February 26, 2016 in Miami Beach, Florida.
It’s the festival of my dreams, unfortunately, I’ll be out of town this weekend (but for a good reason). The Grilled Cheese Festival returns to Charlotte’s Southend this Saturday, April 29th. As a lover of both carbs and cheese, this is right up my alley. So while I have to miss it, make sure you get your tickets to take full advantage of this joyous festival. The Grilled Cheese Festival celebrates National Grilled Cheese Day. Local restaurants will showcase their best cheesy delicacies and of course, you can grab a drink at the Bloody Mary Garden or Mimosa Bar.
Like any good festival, there will also be live music, games, activities, and vendors to check out in between snacks. The festival benefits AltruSpirit which is a non-profect that provides athletic programming for at-risk/financially disadvantaged youth in the Charlotte area.
