This Charlotte Lake Named Most Beautiful In North Carolina
One of the best parts about North Carolina is that if you want to go to the lake, we have lakes, and if you want to go to the beach, we have beaches, and not only do we have them but we have beautiful lakes and beaches.
We all know about North Carolina beaches, but there are a lot of North Carolina lakes that might be less familiar. If you live in or around Charlotte then you are probably very familiar with Lake Norman and Lake Wylie. Well, I have some good news. One of those lakes was named the most beautiful lake in North Carolina.
Insider went around and made a list naming the most beautiful lake in each state. So, which one is it?
Lake Norman
Charlottinians, you probably aren’t the least bit surprised. Lake Norman has it all. The lake has so much to offer that Maney and LauRen both took their families there for a staycation over Spring Break. According to Insider, “Lake Norman has 520 miles of shoreline, and its surface measures 32,475 acres. The massive lake is known as a popular destination, offering water sports, regattas, and cruises.”
You should know the drill by now. We can’t talk about North Carolina without talking about South Carolina. So what did Insider have to say about the most beautiful lake in South Carolina?
Lake Marion
According to the website, “Lake Marion is 110,000 acres and reaches Berkeley County, Calhoun County, Clarendon County, Orangeburg County, and Sumter County. The man-made lake is known for its fish and other wildlife.”
With all of the good weather coming our way, this has me wanting a lake day!
