This Carolina Makes The List For ‘Worst States For Jobs’
We always look at these lists to see if North or South Carolina makes the list. Our hopes are that one Carolina, if not two, make the list for something positive. That’s not the case today when talking about employment.
When you’re looking for employment, where you live can make a big difference. WalletHub has done the research to figure out where the best places to be job hunting are this year. They just released their list of 2022’s best and worst states for jobs, rating them on 35 key indicators of job-market strength, opportunity and healthy economy.
WalletHub looked at factors including median annual income average, employment growth and average commute time, among others. Based on these, they’ve named Washington as the best state overall for jobs, with a score of 69.65 out of 100. Washington is ranked eighth in the job market and first in the economic environment. And on the other end of the rankings, West Virginia is worst for jobs, landing in 50th for the job market and 49th for the economic environment.
