George R. R. Martin: “House Of The Dragon” Will Go Four Seasons
Hard to believe, but Season One of “House of the Dragon” is nearing its final episode – and the prequel series to “Game of Thrones” appears to be a smash hit for HBO. “GoT” lasted eight seasons; how long will “HotD” run?
Creator of the entire “Game of Thrones” universe, George R. R. Martin, wrote on his blog yesterday, “It is going to take four full seasons of 10 episodes each to do justice to the Dance of the Dragons, from start to finish.” He also went on to praise those that are working on the series: “I do want to commend Ryan Condal and Miguel Sapochnik and the cast and crew for the work they’ve done.”
He also went on to brag about his favorite NFL teams, the Jets and Giants – but neither one of them is one of the great Houses, so “Dragon” fans probably won’t care much about that.
