The Carolina Panthers Extend Losing Record
The Carolina Panthers started their 2022-2023 season last weekend against the Cleveland Browns. There was a lot of hype around this home season opener considering our new starting quarterback, Baker Mayfield, came from Cleveland. The game didn’t get exciting until the fourth quarter. We really did have a chance at winning in the last moments, but just couldn’t close the game.
After that loss, Panther fans were looking ahead to week 2 against the New York Giants. The game started with a kick from Graham Gano, who you may know because he was a longtime kicker for us, The Carolina Panthers.
There were so many signs early in this game that it wasn’t going to be pretty. The first play from the Carolina Panthers resulted in a fumble during the opening kickoff. That pretty much sums up the entire game.
Fast forward to the end of the game, the Panthers lost 19-16. With that loss, the Panthers secured their ninth loss in a row and second loss of this season.
