North Carolina City Makes List For The Best Cities For Single Dads
Sunday is Father’s Day, and while being a dad isn’t easy, it can be even harder for single dads who have to juggle the responsibilities of being a dad without the support of a partner. And apparently, that is easier in some parts of the country than others.
Lawn care company Lawnstarter has just come out with their list of 2022’s Best Cities for Single Dads. They looked at 200 of the biggest cities in the U.S., judging them on 36 indicators that make a city friendly for single-dads. Such factors include things like child care costs, family leave policies, public school quality, access to parks, parenting classes, and more. Topping the list is Naperville, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, which scores 63.80 out of 100 and ranks first for home and outdoors, second for affordability, and eighth for health and education.

- Bellevue, WA
- Omaha, NE

Landing at the bottom of the list is Sunrise Manor, Nevada, which scores just a 36.88 and lands low on the list for health and education, affordability, and home and outdoors.
