Today is National Teachers Day, part of Teacher Appreciation Week.
While it might be a good time to let a special teacher know just how important they were, it’s also a time to celebrate with buy-one-get-one free meals and discounts on office supplies.
Many restaurants are offering deals today, like a free cheeseburger at Sonic, a free cookie at Potbelly Sandwich Shop when you order a sandwich, and many more. Office Depot and Staples are also offering a variety of goodies and discounts.
Here are some of the deals as reported by USA Today:
- Zaxby’s – BOGO meal deals
- Barnes & Noble – a free tall cup of hot or iced coffee or tea
- McDonald’s has discounts and freebies on their app
- Johnny Rockets – healthcare workers and teachers with a valid ID a free Original or Deluxe Shake with any in-store purchase
- Insomnia Cookies – giving teachers a free six-pack of cookies with a $5 in-store purchase through 3 a.m
- Dollar General is giving teachers 5% off each month for a limited time.
