How To Predict If Your Partner Will Cheat

A romance and relationship expert Kate pulled out the good old dry erase board to help couples predict if their partner might ever cheat on them. In a TikTok that has almost one million views, she stated there are basically two types of people when it comes to handling conflict: Those who externalize it and those who internalize it.
- Avoidants like to dodge confrontation and instead will turn to someone or something else.
- Anxious partners are okay with confrontation, but if their partner can’t help solve the issue, they’ll just internalize their stress instead.
So how does this correlate to cheating? Kate says avoidants, ones who “go outside of their relationship to get their needs met,” are more likely to cheat down the line.
- The signs of this could mean anything from leaving an argument to go on a walk or just going silent when a conversation gets tough.
