TSA Screens Woman At Airport For “Suspicious” Sausage
TSA officials at the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky airport pulled a woman out of line because of suspicious items in her carry-on.
Airport officials say Chelsea Cawood Trinidad was boarding a flight from Cincinnati to Tulsa, Oklahoma, when her bags were flagged by security. After a brief inspection, TSA agents said the eight dense torpedo-shaped items turned out to be eight tubes of Cincinnati’s famous Glier’s Goetta [[ Get-uh ]] sausage.
Trinidad said whenever she’s in Cincinnati visiting cousins, she always brings back the sausage for her friends in Tulsa. Next time she may want to ship it!
This reminds me of the time I was going on vacation with my fiancé after he just got back from Harry Pottery World in Florida. We got stopped by TSA because a weapon was found in his bag. The weapon? A wand. A not so magical wand. We all had a good laugh.
