Searches For “Food Stamps” On Google Are Still At A Record High
It looks like more people are struggling to put food on the table due to record inflation.
Google searches for “food stamps” are still 100-percent higher than before the pandemic and it’s been increasing over the last three months. A new poll this week found anxiety about inflation is at its highest level since 1985.
A report from Bloomberg also shows basic household items will cost five-thousand dollars more this year. Data shows about 41.5 million people were on food stamps at the end of 2021.
