Dunkin’s Spring Menu Includes Green Shamrock Macchiato
We still have a few more weeks of winter to get through, but Dunkin’s spring menu has sprung. The coffee and doughnut chain has announced the lineup for their new spring menu and it looks like they’re taking a page from the seasonal success of McDonald’s Shamrock Shake for one item.
Dunkin’ has given their macchiato a self-described “holiday makeover,” turning it into the Shamrock Macchiato. They welcome fans to “grab a sippable lucky charm this spring.” The layered bright green coffee drink is described as “bold, smooth espresso atop rich and creamy Irish Creme flavor, with notes of sweet cream and vanilla that capture the unmistakable flavor profile of Irish whiskey.”
The Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew and Salted Caramel Signature Latte are also part of the new lineup. On the food side, there’s Roasted Tomato & Hummus Toast, which features oven-roasted tomatoes, hummus and a blend of spices on sourdough bread, and Roasted Tomato & Avocado Toast, which has the oven-roasted tomatoes and a “creamy and savory avocado spread” topped with Everything Bagel seasoning on sourdough. And lastly, there’s the new Chocolate Croissant, which is “an all-butter croissant filled with three chocolate batons and served warm.”
