Singer Britney Spears attends the 2016 Billboard Music Awards at T-Mobile Arena on May 22, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Since younger sister Jamie Lynn’s recent Good Morning America interview in which she was promoting a tell-all memoir, Britney Spears has hinted at writing a book of her own.

Jamie Lynn, 30, spoke with anchor Juju Chang in an interview today (January 12) about Things I Should Have Said, out next week (January 18). Per Variety, Jamie Lynn originally announced she would be donating book proceeds to the mental health organization, This Is My Brave, but the nonprofit rejected the offer for the donation, bowing to criticism from fans of Britney Spears.

Press leaks reported that the working title for the book was initially, I Must Confess, a reference to a line from her sister’s debut single, “Baby One More Time.” After swift backlash, the publisher said the title was “incorrect” and “incomplete,” and then announced the official title for the book is Things I Should Have Said.

Britney seems to have a response to her sister’s book, hinting at a possible telling of her side of the story in a new Instagram post writing, “Shall I start from THE BEGINNING???” with a photo of a typewriter.

Jamie Lynn told Chang that she went out of her way to “make sure that she had the contacts she needed to possibly go ahead and end this conservatorship and just end this all for our family. If it’s going to cause this much discord, why continue it?” Jamie Lynn said she even talked to Britney’s previous legal team and that “did not end well” in her favor, so it was up to Britney to “walk through the door.”
