The Best And Worst Cities For Singles
For those looking for love, location may be the key to success. It turns out, some areas are better than others when it comes to being single and a new ranking tells us which cities those are. To help singles find love, WalletHub compared 182 U.S. cities including the 150 most populated U.S. cities – in three key categories: economics, fun & recreation and dating opportunities.
They looked at 32 indicators of dating-friendliness including the percentage of the population that’s single, the number of online dating opportunities and the average price for a two-person meal. The city with the highest number of singles is Burlington, Vermont, and the city with the most online-dating opportunities is Irvine, California, but that wasn’t enough to push either of them to the top of the list. After ranking all 182 cities, WalletHub has determined Madison, Wisconsin, to be the best city for singles in 2021.
