Evergreen Fog Is The 2022 Color Of The Year
If you are thinking about freshening up your home with a new coat of paint and want to be on-trend, you may want to consider a new shade of green.
Paint manufacturer Sherwin-Williams has just picked their color of the year for 2022 and it’s Evergreen Fog, described as a mix between a light gray and green, and is said to be a “soothing, subtle shade that is easy to use in every part of the home, indoors or out.”
“Evergreen Fog is a sophisticated wash of color for spaces that crave a subtle yet stunning statement shade,” Sue Wadden, director of color marketing at Sherwin-Williams, shares. “Evergreen Fog inspires us to begin again and is a great choice for modern interiors and exteriors.” She adds, “Evergreen Fog brings a regenerative touch to any environment, whether hotel room, restaurant or office.”
For those looking to embrace the new color, Wadden suggests pairing it with colors like Shoji White and Accessible Beige. Evergreen Fog is a big switch from 2021’s color of the year, Urbane Bronze, which was a darker tone which they said helped create a sense of sanctuary.
